March Adventures

March is always a busy month, and this year wasn't any different. A couple of months ago I was trying to keep up with posting 2 blog posts a week. The past few weeks I have started getting super busy, so I am going to go back to 1 post a week on Tuesday evening. I find it easier to keep up with at once a week. I didn't get a chance to get a lot of artwork done this month. I think my hibernation mode is opposite from most people. I tend to lose motivation and inspiration as soon as it starts getting hot out. I need to stop allowing myself to do that and push through it.

The beginning of the month I was invited to purchase a table for a really great price at a Home-Based Business Showcase that the city put on. here is a picture of that table.

It was a pretty good event. I met a lot of people and learned so much. Here is a picture my brother took of me behind the table.

My brother was able to make it down here from New York. It was so great to spend time with him, since I haven't seen him in over 3 years. While he was here we drove up to Orlando to visit with Mom at the nursing facility she is in. There were a couple of turtles out sunning themselves.

The next weekend the city put on their Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival. One of our favorite Irish singers was performing there. If you are ever on the Treasure Coast and get a chance to see Paul Rowan perform, he is awesome!

Here is a picture of the Mango Tree in my front yard in full bloom. I will be curious to see if we get any mangos this year. They haven't produced any fruit in a couple of years.

I voted!!! Although I vote I choose to keep politics to myself and don't share my views with to many people. I think it is a very personal and private decision.

I have been checking out all the art subscription boxes and decided to give the Art Snacks box a try. You can read my review of this box here. They have a little challenge for you to create something with only the supplies you receive in the box. This is what I came up with. This was the only artwork I completed this month.

My birthday is at the end of the month. The boyfriend took me out to a wonderful dinner at a new place we haven't tried yet. I took this picture of the palm trees while we were waiting to be seated. I got this amazing seafood crepe with scallops, shrimp, and lobster in a champagne cream sauce. Then we decided to splurge and got chocolate cake for dessert, it was so yummy!

The next morning was my actual birthday and he got me these beautiful Galaxy Converse. I have been eyeballing these sneakers for probably over 2 years. They are a Journey's exclusive and I kept thinking they are to expensive to spend the money on. Converse have become my favorite sneaker, I now have 7 pairs.

We also went and saw Batman v. Superman that day. It was better than I expected it to be. I wasn't sure how I felt about Ben Affleck playing Batman, but I have to say he did a great job, and was a very distinguished Bruce Wayne. I have to say that I love Henry Cavil as Superman he was great in Man of Steel and was great in this one also. I would say the only con to this movie for me is they kind of drug things out and it was quite a bit longer than it needed to be.

After the movie we went and had breakfast for lunch at my favorite breakfast place. They send me a coupon for a free breakfast or lunch for my birthday every year. After that we just relaxed at home.

Over all March was great and I look forward to a great April! Although I dread the summer and the hotter weather. If you would like to see my work in progress pictures or just some randomness you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook
